AILET 2025: National Law University, Delhi has removed four exam centers for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET 2025). This has been done due to an insufficient number of candidates. The number of exam centers has been reduced from 35 to 31 after reviewing the overall registration. Eligible candidates will be allowed to submit AILET applications till November 18 through the official website nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
These four exam centers were removed:
The entrance exam is conducted by NLU Delhi for admission to undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and PhD programs. The AILET information bulletin states, “Based on the current number of applications received to date, it is estimated that exam centers cannot be set up in the following cities due to insufficient candidates: Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Kota, Shimla, and Siliguri.”
It further states, “If the number of candidates in an exam city is less than 100, the exam center will not be set up in that city and candidates will be allotted an exam city as per their second/third choice.”
What should those who had selected these cities do?
The university has said that candidates who have selected any of the four cities as their first choice will have to update their exam city preferences. To do so, candidates will have to visit the AILET portal and re-select the preferences at their convenience.
