The notification of CTET i.e. Central Teacher Eligibility Test has been released. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form by visiting ctet.nic.in till October 16. This exam is conducted by CBSE.
Fees:
General / OBC (Non Creamy Layer): If you are giving either Paper I or Paper II, then you will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000. If you are giving both Paper I and Paper II, then you will have to pay a fee of Rs 1200.
SC, ST, Divyang: If you are giving either Paper I or Paper II, then you will have to pay a fee of Rs 500. If you are giving both Paper I and Paper II, then you will have to pay a fee of Rs 600.

Teachers who qualify for CTET can get jobs in all the schools across the country which come under the central government. Apart from this, one can also get jobs in schools of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and Delhi. These include schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya and Navodaya Vidyalaya.
Apart from this, many private schools also give jobs to teachers based on CTET scores. Apart from State TET, many states also recognize CTET scores. CTET-qualified candidates can also apply for jobs in schools in such states.
