The government has now further improved the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana. Beneficiaries no longer have to wait for the subsidy benefits. Instead, the subsidy money will be credited to the beneficiary’s account within 7 days.
So far 1.30 crore people have applied for this scheme. This scheme aims to provide 300 units of free electricity to people and promote solar energy. Under this scheme, you can generate electricity by installing Solar Panels at home and selling them to the government.
Under this scheme, a subsidy of Rs 78,000 is sent directly to the beneficiary’s account. So that he will not face any problems in installing the panel.

Till now the beneficiaries had to wait for months for the subsidy. Taking this issue seriously, the government has decided to send the subsidy to the beneficiary’s account within 7 days. With this decision of the government, the subsidy process will be accelerated. Apart from this, back-end integration for subsidy payment through the national portal is also being accelerated.
