PM Internship Scheme Launches: The registration process for the PM Internship Scheme has started from October 12. Candidates who want to apply for the internship scheme can apply online through the official website of the PM Internship Scheme pminternship.mca.gov.in.
Since Friday, 193 companies have made internship positions available on the Pradhan Mantri Internship Yojana portal. About 90,849 internship positions have been registered till Friday evening. According to media reports, major private sector firms like Jubilant Foodworks, Maruti Suzuki India, Eicher Motors Limited, Larsen & Toubro Limited, Muthoot Finance, and Reliance Industries are included.
How to apply
Candidates can follow the steps below to apply for the PM Internship Scheme 2024.
Visit the official website pminternship.mca.gov.in.
Click on the register link, a new page will open.
Fill in the registration details and click on submit.
The portal will generate the resume based on the information provided by the candidates.
Apply for a maximum of 5 internship opportunities based on location, sector, functional role, and qualification.
Once done, click on submit.
Download the confirmation page.
Keep a hard copy of it for further requirements.
Internships will be conducted in 24 sectors, with the most opportunities in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. Also included are travel, tourism, automobile, banking, and financial services. Internship opportunities will be given across the country.

Eligibility Criteria
Students studying online and distance will be eligible for internships.
Those whose family income does not exceed Rs 8 lakh in the financial year 2023-24 will be eligible for this.
The age limit for this has been fixed from 21 to 24 years.
