Bihar STET Result 2024: 70.25% Candidates Pass Secondary Teacher Exam

Bihar STET Result 2024: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the results of the Bihar STET (Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test) exam. BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore announced this on Monday afternoon. Anand Kishore said that the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test has been released.

A total of one lakh 94 thousand 697 candidates have passed Paper 1 (Class 9 and 10) by combining 16 subjects. The success percentage in this was 73.77. At the same time, a total of one lakh three thousand fifty candidates have passed Paper 2 (Class 11 and 12) by combining 29 subjects. The success percentage in this was 64.44. A total of 70.25 percent of candidates have passed by combining 49 subjects of both papers. All candidates will be eligible to appear in TRE 4. Several candidates who appeared in the STET exam:

Three lakh 59 thousand 489 candidates in STET Paper-1 and two lakh 37 thousand 442 candidates in Paper-2 were eagerly waiting for the result. On Monday, the Bihar Board has announced the result of the examination. Now the successful candidates can appear in the fourth phase of the teacher recruitment examination conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission.

Importance of STET Exam:

Bihar STET is a qualifying examination, through which candidates get an opportunity to become teachers in the state. This exam is conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). After success in the STET exam, the candidates are given an STET pass certificate, which will be valid for life.

Features of the STET Exam:

The exam was conducted in two shifts from June 11 to June 19 and was conducted at designated centers as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The STET exam consists of two papers:

Paper 1: This exam is for the recruitment of teachers of secondary schools.

Paper 2: This exam is for the recruitment of teachers of senior secondary schools.

EWS: 63.75 marks
