What is Pran Vayu Devta Yojana?
Pran Vayu Devta Yojana is a scheme, through which financial help will be given to you to take care of trees. This scheme was started by the Haryana government in 2023. In this, you are assisted in the care of trees.
Pran Vayu Devta Yojana Pension:
Under this scheme, individuals are given Rs 2750 every year for the care of trees of 75 years or more. This amount is given to the owners who protect the trees as a pension.
Pran Vayu Devta Yojana Eligibility:
Under this scheme, if there is a tree of 75 years or more on your land, then you can apply by going to the forest department office of your district. For this, you must be 18 years old and also a resident of Haryana.
Initially, an amount of Rs 2500 was fixed under this scheme, which was later increased to Rs 2750. Keep in mind that fallen trees, hollow, dead, dry, and diseased trees will not be included in the scheme. Also, trees standing on forest land will not be included.
