Odisha Police has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Junior Clerk (DPO Cadre). The online application window has been opened. Eligible candidates can apply for these posts by visiting the official website of Odisha Police odishapolice.gov.in. till 10 pm on October 13. The application correction window will open from 16 to 18 October 2024. Applying candidates will not have to pay any fee.

This recruitment drive of Odisha Police aims to fill a total of 177 Junior Clerk vacancies. The category-wise vacancy details are as follows:

Educational Qualification:
Applicants must have passed the +2 examination or equivalent qualification with knowledge of basic computer skills. Candidates who have passed the examination from boards/councils etc. outside Odisha will also have to submit the following two documents at the time of document verification:
1. Proof of equivalence from any recognized board/council/university of the state of Odisha.
2. Affiliation of their institution to a recognized board/council/university.
Age Limit:
21 to 38 years as of 1st January 2024. The upper age limit will be relaxed for reserved category candidates.
Selection Process:
Applicants will be shortlisted based on written tests and practical skill tests. The written test will consist of two papers – Paper I [Language Test (English and Odia) Objective] and [General Knowledge (Objective)] and Paper II [Basic Arithmetic, Mathematics and Reasoning (Objective)] and [Basic Computer Skills (Objective)].
