Odisha State Open School 2025: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has started the registration process for the State Open School Certificate (SOSC) Examination 2025. Eligible students can fill out the application form for the Open School Certificate Examination 2025 through the official website bseodisha.ac.in. The last date to fill out the application form is November 18.
According to the official notification, students enrolled in the first phase of admission to the State Institute of Open School (SIOS) 2024-25 are eligible to register under the “Fresh” category. Those who appeared in the SOSC examination earlier but did not pass got grades of ‘F’, ‘ABS’, or ‘MP’ or failed to pass all five subjects can apply under the “Back” category. Candidates booked under the “MP” category in the previous exam are also eligible to appear again under the “Back” category.”

Transfer of Credit Facility:
The Odisha Board has allowed students from other recognized boards who have passed at least one secondary course subject but did not qualify, to take admission in SIOS with the option of Transfer of Credit (TOC) facility.
As per the official notice, candidates can transfer credits up to a maximum of two subjects, provided they have secured at least 30% marks in those subjects within the last five years (from 2020 onwards).
Credits will be given only in those subjects which are included in the study plan and exam scheme of SIOS. Candidates will have to upload their mark sheet from the original board along with providing details such as marks, roll number, and year of passing.
