REET Exam 2024: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has introduced a new OMR rule for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET 2025) along with other changes. Announcing the marking scheme for the exam, the board said that the REET 2025 question paper will now have five options instead of four.
According to the new OMR rule of REET, the Rajasthan Board has said that there will be 5 options instead of four for a question. Also, a scheme of negative marking has also been introduced for wrong answers.
If a candidate chooses the wrong answer or does not choose any answer out of the 5 options, he will be given a negative mark. The board further said that 1% of marks will be deducted from the total marks for every wrong answer.

REET exam will be conducted for two levels. The REET level-1 exam is conducted for those who want to become teachers from classes 1 to 5 and the REET level-2 exam is conducted for teacher eligibility from classes 6 to 8.

The exam will be held in February:
According to the schedule, the REET exam will be held on February 27. The registration process for the exam will end on January 15. RBSE is holding meetings to ensure transparent and smooth conduct of the examinations.
It had earlier announced that the REET application fee for both levels would remain the same as in previous years. Those applying for one paper will have to pay Rs 550 and those registering for both REET level 1 and 2 will have to pay Rs 750.
