SSC CGL Result 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to declare the results of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 Tier-1 exam soon. Candidates who appeared for this recruitment exam will be able to download the Tier-1 results by visiting the official website (ssc.gov.in). Candidates have to use their login credentials like registration number and date of birth to download the SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 result.
The aim of the campaign is to fill a total of 17,727 Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in various ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India as well as several constitutional bodies, statutory bodies, and tribunals.
The exam was conducted from September 9 to September 26 at various exam centers across the country.
Qualifying Marks:
The minimum qualifying marks for the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam have been fixed at 30% for unreserved category candidates, 25% for OBC and EWS categories, and 20% for all other reserved categories.
Selection will be done in this way:
Candidates who qualify in Tier-1 will enter Tier-2, which is a more advanced stage consisting of several papers depending on the post applied for.
The Tier-2 exam generally consists of papers on quantitative aptitude, English language, and other subjects.
The Tier-3 exam is a descriptive paper, usually in the form of an essay or letter writing, aimed at assessing the writing and analytical skills of the candidate.
In Tier-4 (Skill Test/Document Verification) some candidates may have to undergo a skill test (e.g., data entry or typing test), followed by document verification to confirm eligibility.
The final selection is based on the combined performance in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 exams (and Tier 4, if applicable). The merit list is prepared, and candidates are allotted posts based on their performance and preference.

Salary:
Candidates selected for SSC CGL Group B posts will be given a monthly salary ranging from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.
