UPPSC PCS Exam Postpone News: Today is the fourth day of the protest of UPPSC candidates, which started with the demand of “one day, one shift, no normalization”. An important meeting may be held in the UP Public Service Commission on Thursday regarding the demands of the students. The commission is brainstorming on how to convince the students
PCS exam will be held on time: Commission reiterated:
In the hot environment, the talk of postponement of the exam is also gaining momentum. However, the commission has given clarity on this subject and advised the students to continue their preparation.
UPPSC Secretary Ashok Kumar said that continuous efforts are being made to communicate with the students. Students have also been told that if they have any formula for normalization, then tell, the commission will consider it. For this, the commission has also issued an email ID.
To resolve the doubts of the candidates, their delegation was also called for talks but no leader has come forward from the students’ side yet. As far as the examination is concerned, the Commission has clarified that the PCS Preliminary Examination-2024 will be held at its scheduled time.
Normalization will end if the students’ demand is accepted:
The students demand to cancel the examination and normalization in one shift on one day. If the Commission accepts the demand to examine in one day, then normalization will end automatically.
Commission’s argument in favor of its decision:
Here are the arguments given by the Commission in favor of its decision:
To protect the purity of the examinations of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) and the future of the students, the examinations are being conducted only at those centers where there is no possibility of any kind of irregularities.
The selection process has been determined keeping in mind the interests of the students and to be completely transparent. The same process is also followed by other prestigious commissions and institutions of the country.
The commission said that earlier many types of irregularities came to light in far-flung examination centres. These centers have been removed to conduct the entire examination based on merit so that the future of deserving students is not uncertain.
UPPSC said that the intention of the government and the commission is to protect the interests of the students and ensure selection based on merit.
The commission decided to examine two shifts at the request of the candidates because of the importance of ensuring the purity of the examination.
The commission said that arrangements have been made to ensure that the candidates do not have to go far to take the examination.
The commission said that anarchic elements, illegal coaching institutes, and copy mafia are trying to mislead the competitive students by giving them misleading information. Students should be cautious of such information. The examination will not be postponed and will be held at its scheduled time.

What do the candidates have to say on the reply of the commission?
Competitive students say that if there is any compulsion to conduct the examination on two days and apply normalization for uniform evaluation due to the non-availability of a sufficient number of centers, then there is a solution for this too. Given the security of the question papers, the government order under which the process of determining the centers has been made stricter, and private schools and colleges have been made examination centers, can also be amended.
