UPSC ESE Final Result 2024: The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result of the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2024, in which 206 candidates have been recommended for appointment. The UPSC ESE Final Result can be checked on the commission’s official website, upsc.gov.in. The Engineering Services Exam 2024 scorecards have been made available in PDF format.
Candidates must use their login credentials, such as registration number and date of birth, to download the UPSC ESE 2024 result.
According to the official notification, Rohit Dhongde has topped the Civil Engineering exam, Munish Kumar has topped the Mechanical Engineering exam, Rajan Kumar has topped the Electrical Engineering exam and Himanshu Thapliyal has topped the Electronic and Telecom Engineering exam. Meanwhile, the commission said that the candidature of 43 recommended candidates is provisional.
The commission said in its official notice, “The appointments will be made strictly as per the existing rules and the number of vacancies available. Allocation of candidates to various services/posts will be made as per the rank obtained and the preference of services expressed by them.”
The commission has recommended 92 candidates from civil engineering, 18 from mechanical engineering, 26 from electrical engineering, and 70 from E&T engineering for appointment. The general category has the highest number of recommended candidates (71), followed by OBC (59), SC (34), EWS (22) and ST (20). The written part of the exam was held in June, and the interviews or personality tests were held in October-November.
