UPSC NDA & CDS 1 2025: The registration window for the Combined Defense Services (CDS 1 2025) and National Defense Academy and Naval Academy (NDA, NA 1 2025) examination by the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) is going to close very soon.

If you are planning to appear for the exam but have not been able to apply yet, immediately go to the official website, upsc.gov.in. and register. The last date to apply for NDA, CDS exam is very near. In such a situation, candidates must register immediately to avoid last-minute problems.

UPSC OTR: Registration has to be done once

The official notice states, “Registration has to be done only once in life. It can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he can directly fill out the online application for the exam.”

UPSC NDA, CDS Correction Window: Correction window will open in January

The window to make changes in the application form for both exams will be made available as soon as January begins. Candidates will be given seven days to make changes to the application form.

The notification states, “If a candidate wishes to make any changes in his registration profile during this period, he should log in to the registration platform and do the needful accordingly.”

UPSC NDA, CDS Exam Date 2025: The NDA, CDS exam will be held in April

According to the official notice, the UPSC NDA-I, CDS-I exam is scheduled to be held on April 13, 2025, at various exam centers across the country. The commission will open the application correction window after the last date of application.

UPSC NDA 2025 Educational Qualification:

The educational qualification criteria vary according to the academy for which the candidate is applying.

Candidates who have completed their class 12th-level education are eligible to apply. However, candidates who are appearing in class 12th under the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this exam.

UPSC NDA 2025 Age Limit:

Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 2006 and not later than 01st July 2009 are eligible to apply for NDA-I.

The date of birth will be as per the date recorded in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or a certificate recognized as equivalent to Matriculation by an Indian University.

UPSC CDS-I Age Limit:

Indian Military Academy – 19 to 24 years (unmarried)
Indian Naval Academy – 19 to 24 years (unmarried)
Air Force Academy – 20 to 24 years (unmarried)
Officers Training Academy (Men) – 19 to 25 years (unmarried & married)
Officers Training Academy (Women, Non-Technical) – 19 to 25 years (unmarried, widow & divorced)

UPSC NDA, CDS Application Fee:

UPSC CDS: As per the notification, candidates registering for the UPSC CDS 2025 exam have to pay an application fee of Rs 200. All female candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) are exempted from paying any fee. However, no fee exemption is available for OBC candidates who are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

UPSC NDA: Candidates registering for the NDA exam will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. As per the NDA notification, SC, ST, women candidates, and wards of Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs), and Other Ranks (ORs) specified in the official notification are exempted from payment.
